Styles
I stumbled upon W3C Core Styles recently and so have started using them. A reasonable browser will offer you a number of styles to pick from. As I have done previously though I have fixed the font size at 12px. Yes this is bad, but default font sizes in browsers are ridiculous, and doing what some do and settings body to be 76% of default is even worse than a fixed size.
Internet Explorer will have problems with the picture of me, and the screenshot thumbnails in all styles if you have javascript disabled. This is because javascript is needed to tell IE to use the transparency correctly. Why IE doesn't handle it properly in the first place is one of the worlds great mysteries. Then again, you could always use Firefox instead. (or IE7 which handles it)
